2009 GOLDEN TROWEL AWARD - BROTHER VERNON BURKHALTER

Burke Masonic Lodge #833 is pleased to recognize and celebrate the selection of Brother Veron Burkhalter for the prestigious Golden Trowel Award. Brother Burkhalter invites all those who would share in this occasion with him to join us on

Friday evening, November 20, 2009 at 7:00pm at the Burke Masonic Lodge to share the dinner meal with him and his family.

The Award presentation will begin at 7:00pm.

The Golden Trowel Award is a special award which a lodge may only present to one member each year. It is given for formal recognition of a Brother who, year after year, quietly, but actively demonstrates his devotion to the teachings of Masonry without thought of recognition or special honors. Brother Burkhalter has clearly set the pattern that others might follow.

The dinner and presentation are open to all who would join us to celebrate Brother Burkhalter's recognition and we invite all masons, their families, and friends.
